Staffing Options

We offer three distinct and totally flexible staffing options for our clients - full service placement, payrolling and self service. Each one is different, so please read each option carefully to find out what we can do for you.

Full Service Placement

This option has all the bells and whistles. Pick up the phone, tell us what you need and we do everything else. No fuss, no worries and no liabilities. Here's what we'll do for you:

  • Contract, Temp-to-Hire, and Direct Placement
  • Manage the placement process using our recruiting staff with over a decade of professional recruiting experience
  • Advertise position on numerous sites
  • Screen and manage all applicants (Usually numbering in the hundreds)
  • Perform rigorous testing for technical skills
  • Perform in person interviews
  • Perform in depth portfolio reviews
  • Perform reference checking (often taking numerous attempts to establish contact)
  • Perform criminal background checks, when requested.
  • We cover ALL payroll costs: state and federal withholding, UI taxes, Social Security taxes, Medicare taxes, workers comp insurance, liability insurance, payroll processing, paid holidays, paid vacations, and more
  • We are the employer of record, so this option includes ZERO legal (read financial) liability for clients
  • Provide a written replacement guarantee in our contract
  • Invoicing with Net 30 Terms (with approved credit)

Payrolling

This option allows you to source and select staff on your own terms, while we handle all the onerous details and backend paperwork. Here's what's involved.

  • You source and select talent however you want
  • You establish pay rate with employee
  • We put these employees on Icon Freelance Associate's payroll for up to 85 days
  • We cover ALL payroll costs: state and federal withholding, UI taxes, Social Security taxes, Medicare taxes, workers comp insurance, liability insurance, and payroll processing
  • We are the employer of record, so this option includes ZERO legal (read financial) liability because we absorb all the risk
  • You will be charged no fee if you convert an employee from Contract to Direct Hire status
  • We bill you at a much smaller mark-up than our full-service placement service

Self Service Placement

This is our DIY option. It lacks the perks of our other options, but it is completely free.

  • You manage the placement process entirely on your own
  • You advertise your position(s) wherever you'd like, including on our website (Though our listing service is free, most other sites will charge you)
  • You search for potential candidates wherever you like, including on our website
  • You screen and manage all applicants (This can be hundreds of resumes and cover letters to sift through)
  • You test all the applicants for technical skills
  • You do all the interviews, the portfolio reviews and the reference checking
  • You perform criminal background checks
  • You cover ALL payroll costs: state and federal withholding, UI taxes, Social Security taxes, Medicare taxes, workers comp insurance, liability insurance, payroll processing, paid holidays, paid vacations, and more
  • You absorb TOTAL legal and financial liability for employee hiring and termination
